My worst Enemy: The “Alarm clock”

Hi everyone again. I hope you’re OK at this end of semester. Well today to tell you about my worst enemy: the Alarm Clock!

I’m a person who likes sleep a lot. I think that ‘sleeping’ is one of pleasures of the life. When I was a child my parents said that one have to sleep a lot for growing healthy and strong.

When I have between 7 and 14 years old I sleeping too many hours every day. But when I grew the time for sleeping was going to reduce, because I have to studying or I prefer to go out and spending time with my friends or my family instead of to sleeping.

Well, I have a very big problem every day when I have to confronting the alarm clock. Because sometimes I hear the clock and sometimes not, and then therefore I fall asleep at morning occasionally. So I'm late to the university and my other commitments.

At morning, when I hear the alarm clock the first time, I say to myself "5 minutes more please" and then I continue sleeping 5 minutes and then I wake up again and I think "Oh no! What time is it? I'm late again". I hate my alarm clock! Ha ha ha, always the same. So every day I get up quickly, I shower and eat breakfast and rush to get everywhere.

Well this is my story with my worst enemy, I know you have one too.

See you next week,
Bye.

Environment

Hi everybory! In this post I want to tell you about environment. We live in “industrial and consumer society” the environment are a very important problem in that times. Every days we produced a large quantities of pollution and trash. This trash was accumulate in all of planet and generate a big damage to the environment. If we don’t take precautions now the consequences would be terrible.

Today be careful with the environment is fashionable, people years ago not recycled as much as now. That is a good new for the planet.

Now, to recycle our trash we can find many places like schools, organizations even supermarkets. But what and how to recycler? That’s a great question because a lot of people have the intentions but ignored what to do? with your trash. Is very important knows that we be careful with the environment we have to do a many things like “Do not smoke” for example, or separate the trash in organic, plastic, paper, etc. for recycle, also use the public transportation is a very good idea to polluted less, and so much more we can do.

I’m not an ecologist person, because I think is a problem but not a very important problem now I think the education and inequality in Chile is a really big problem for example. Even so I’m always worried about not buying things that pollute a lot, do not use so many plastic bag, walks a lot and use public tranportation, turn off the light, and recycler plastic in home, etc.

See you the next week with a new post!

A summary about article: "Mental disorders should not be hastily defined" (by Mary O'Hara)

Well today I’m going to talk about an article about mental disorders and the effects of this definition quickly. The article is named “Mental disorders should not be hastily defined”.

The article is focused on preoccupation about the last edition of Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental disorders (DSM 5) related with the answer: what constitutes a mental health problems?.

The manual that’s make a controversial considering that have an important influence in clinical diagnostic and treatment that people receive because is a big guide to medical psychiatrics. Well, the article make a note that the DSM have consequences in diagnostic people because produce an impact in the people with “clinical condition” they are stigmatized for the society.

The author says, for the people clinically diagnosed with a mental health, exist two possible answers, one is have a good reaction with the diagnostic because this make compressible what is happening to them. The other option analyzed for the critics, indicate a problem: the people are been very over-medicalized.

And other important element to considerate, is about who make this manual: the expert. Studies prove as 70% of experts have links to pharmaceutical companies. This date about link with pharmaceutical companies is one of the principal causes to the doubt about this veracity.

The author concludes the warming that this manual generate at the people, the mental disorder are a delicate theme.

Firstly I want to say that I think the movies are amazing and creative world. You know that every second of film have 24 frames per second? Haha, is really incredible!

Well I like movies since that I’m childhood. Whit my family, mom, dad and little sister we watch movies every Sunday at home.  I love lots movies, but a think I have one favourite called “The big fish”.

The movie is based on a book whit the same name. The story is about one relation between son and father.  Edward Bloom is a fantastic character that who is telling a lots of stories about your life to his son at the last moments of your life. The stories are fantastic with amazing characters and incredible happenings. And well, the director of this film is Tim Burton, one of my favorites.

In words of his director, Big Fish is about: what's real and what's fantastic, what's true and what's not true, what's partially true and how, in the end, it's all true."

Do you see this movie? If you don’t see this movie I really recommended!!
